Daypack: One of my very favorite items is the ultra-lightweight daypack. The daypack will allow you to take just what you need for the day and have room for money, food, and whatever else you may need.
Travel insurance is so important to have and one of the most overlooked aspects of traveling. You don't realize you need it until you face a situation that requires it. Here's a list of the top XYZ companies that are most reputable! Also, the top 2 I recommend are World Nomads Travel Insurance and Travelex.
Throughout my travels in all major cities I use Uber!! It costs about 1/2 or a 1/3 as much as taxis, it's way more convenient to pay (no hassles with inflated prices or tips), and it's awesome!!
I'm giving you a free ride on the Uber app (up to $15). To accept, use code '6orta' to sign up. Enjoy! Details: https://www.uber.com/invite/6orta
Build a website:
Bluehost : Build a website today with Bluehost!! I've used it for several years and absolutely love it!! Wordpress and Bluehost is the easiest way I know how to make a site!!
Hootsuite : This site allows me to post on a variety of social networks all at once! Plus the best feature is the ability to schedule posts and updates.
Namechk : I've always loved this site for checking if domains and social networks are available. When I was searching for a domain name I had a ton of great ideas but most were taken on Facebook, or Twitter, or Instagram. When I typed in RushBeyond I found is was fully available for all social networks and domain names.
Nomadic Matt : There's a ton of great information on his site!! I'd highly recommend his book How to Travel the World on $50 a Day: Revised: Travel Cheaper, Longer, Smarter as I read it 2 times before I started traveling!!
